Founded in 2011 by a group of college students who wanted to make a difference, Denik creates notebooks, journals, sketchbooks, and planners that feature stunning designs by artists from around the globe. Each product is made with high-quality materials and craftsmanship, and a portion of every sale goes towards funding education projects in developing countries.

Denik has a strong presence in the retail market, with products sold in over 3,000 stores across the US and Canada, including Barnes & Noble, Target, and Anthropologie, as well as mainstream and boutique online retailers. What is Denik’s mission?
Denik’s mission is to build schools in impoverished communities, where access to education is limited or nonexistent. Denik works with non-profit organizations like Pencils of Promise and Mali Rising to identify the areas of need and oversee the construction and operation of the schools. So far, Denik has helped build 12 schools in 7 countries, including Ghana, Guatemala, Laos, Mali, Nepal, Nicaragua, and Senegal. Denik’s goal is to build 20 schools by 2025, and to empower more than 10,000 students with the opportunity to learn and grow.
